 1.      The forgotten Architect of our Constitution




You have all heard since Childhood ,that B R Ambedkar was “Father” of our constitution.                    He was the head of the Drafting commitee of the constitution in the year 1947 and it was approved in 1949.                                                                                                                                                               The worlds longest Constitution cannot be created from ‘scratch’ in two years.                                     So what happenned actually?                                                                                                                          

A Initial Draft was started in 1935 .This draft was then re-worked, debated, modified a bit – here and there..

The Architect of this original Draft was Sir B.N.Rau, more precisely Benegal Narsing Rau.                    In a Sense- he is the creator of our constitution. Isnt it a  matter of Shame to us,  that we dont know much about him.?                                                                                                                                          It should have been a matter of pride for us ,because B N Rau was born in 1887 in the town of Karkala.......Belonging to the Chitrapur Saraswath Community...Son of a doctor...schooled at Canara High school -Mangalore.....coming first place in the entire Madras Presidency...cleared the ICS ( todays IAS) - 19th rank.....served at different places all over India.                                                                        

It was he, who was asked by the Govt to draft a constitution in 1935 .                                                        He submitted the draft to the Drafting commitee by 1947. He was also part of that 'Drafting' commitee....for a short while- he was even the Prime minister of Kashmir......

Rau then went to the United Nations serving variuos Roles finally ending up as a Judge in the Internation Court of Justice at Hague. 

He passed away in the year 1953 in Zurich....Its a matter of pride for us , that a son of our land had played such a big role in framing our constitution.

The 'Conflict' about Srirama leaving Sita in Forest !

 “ Rama sent Sita to the forest. That’s a Bad thing, Rest is all ok about him. ” This Statement has been one of the most “ Conflicting  ” issues for true Rambhakths. Resonates more among the woman, since the issue is a case of abandonment. Conflict for the Rambhakths is, they revere him and worship him, but when someone asks them this question- they have no clue as to,what to say. They feel guilty about it themselves too. Because a ‘doubt ‘has arose in their mind- “How can a Man who abandons his wife, ( because of an unproven accusation), be considered as God?”. Let’s see, how to address it.
